BASS: Bass fishing has been great this week! Try fishing in the 6' to 12' range - look for rock/weed transitions. Honey Harbour, Waubaushene, Hoggs Bay, Sturgeon Bay, Present and Quarry
Top Lure: Watermelon Senko,Bang-o-Lure, X-Rap

WALLEYE: Walleye are starting to school up. Try some of your early fall patterns. Midland Bay, Snake, Sucker Creek, Waubaushene.
Top Lure: Worm harness, Wally Diver

PIKE: The pike are becoming more consistent and bigger ones are being caught. Smaller lures and bait seem to be the trick.
Top Lure: Husky Jerk, Reef Runner

Muskie: Numbers are high this year - lots of fish being caught. With the fall weather and strapping on the feedbag you'll see them getting bigger too! Great year for Muskie fishing! Waub Channel, Snake Is., Sucker Creek, Ross Shoal
Top Lure: Believers, Bang-o-Bs

TROUT/SALMON: CAPTAIN BILL SAYS: "The Lakers are down deep while the Salmon are unpredictable and can be anywhere. Lakers should soon be moving to the shoals to start their spawn and the season closes in about a month.The Salmon are rare in the Methodist point area while some are being caught in Marc's point area and along the west shore of Thunder Bay. As usual they are stacked up in the "Hole" in great number although it is difficult to get them to bite. They do have their moments when they feed but you have to be there at the right time. Lymans seem to be the answer although NK's and Big Erns are competitive."
