Lake Trout: Lake Trout fishing has really picked up in
Georgian Bay over the last 3 years (Check out
George'N Charters to
see the open water lake trout fishing) and now it's picking up
through the ice too! Stoney Point, Mark's Point, Thunder Bay Beach
and the odd one in Midland Bay.
Top Lure:
Williams Jig Spoons, Prism spoons
Pike: This nice weather has been great for the pike fishing.
Using smaller shiners (2" or 3") has been the key. Penetang Bay,
Midland Bay, Six Mile
Top Lure:2" to 3" creek shiners
Herring: It's definitely been a banner year for herring this
year - 1 1/2 to 2 lb has not been uncommon. Midland Bay
Top Lure:Buck Shot Spoon/Gypsy Jig rig
Perch: Perch fishing has been great! Many people reporting
getting their limit on a regular basis.

Walleye: Walleye fishing has been good. Midland Bay and
Waubaushene
