the Fish are and How to Catch 'Em! |
Pike:
This warmer weather is GREAT for the fishing! Penetang Bay has
seen more action this week than all year! Midland Bay, Honey
Harbour have seen action too!
Top Lure: 3" to 5" minnows, Williams Jigs
Walleye: Waubashene and Six Mile Lake have been the best
spots for walleye. Midland Bay has produced a few, but it's not
predicatable.
Top Lure: HAWGER SPOONS, Buckshot spoons, Swedish Pimple
Perch: Perch fishing in Midland Bay has been good this week
with the warmer weather! Fishing in 30' to 40' of water has been
the most productive!
Top Lure: ROCKER SPOONS, small emerald shiners
Herring: Herring fishing in Midland Bay has been good this
week! Buckshot Spoon with a Gypsi Jig dropper on it and fish on
the bottom and run a second line 12' down. Some herring have even
taken small emerald shiners this week!
Top Lure: Buckshot Spoon & Gypsi Jig, 2 tone crappie
tube, emerald shiners
Whitefish: There have been a few whitefish taken this week
that are cruising with the herring.
