Walleye:A
few fish being taken out of our huts in Hoggs Bay (the ice is
still open up in Waubashene). Our huts should be out in Midland
Bay this week - we'll keep you posted!
Top Lure: emerald shiners, Hawger Spoons,
Buck Shot Spoons
Pike: Pike fishing
is underway in Penetang Bay (Hindson's Marina) and Hoggs Bay.
There is 8 to 12 inches of ice, but watch for dark spots.
Sturgeon Bay only has 3 huts on it.
Top Lure: SMALL Minnows
Perch/Crappie: Some people have
been fishing in South Bay, in Honey Harbour, McLean Lake and Six
Mile Lake.
Top Lure: White Gypsy Jigs or Yellow with black dot tear
drop with small shiner minnow, Hawger Spoons
Herring/Whitefish: There have been
reports of a few herring being caught, but there are still
questionable areas on the ice so BE CAREFUL!! Our huts should be
out in Midland Bay this week so we'll keep you posted!
