Walleye:The
water is still open up near Waubashene - we didn't see any huts
yesterday! There have 3 walleye pulled out of Hoggs Bay
(Backwater Ice Hut Rentals). Midland Bay is firming up but not
safe yet.
Top Lure: emerald shiners, Hawger Spoons,
Buck Shot Spoons
Pike: Pike fishing
is underway in Penetang Bay (Hindson's Marina) and Hoggs Bay.
There is 8 to 12 inches of ice, but watch for dark spots.
Sturgeon Bay only has 3 huts on it.
Top Lure: SMALL Minnows
Perch/Crappie: Some people have
been fishing in South Bay, in Honey Harbour, McLean Lake and Six
Mile Lake.
Top Lure: White Gypsy Jigs or Yellow with black dot tear
