Where the Fish are and How to Catch 'Em!
BASS: The
bass are still a little shallow for this time of the
year. Senkos & tubes! Light colours seem to be catching
the bigger fish. Honey Harbour, Bone Is., North Bay &
South Bay
Top Lure: Watermelon Senko, Watermelon tubes
WALLEYE: The walleye are starting to go!
Methodist Is., Midland Bay, Penetang Bay and Snake Is.
Trolling crankbaits or worm harnesses over deep weeds
seem to be catching the big fish.
Top Lure: Worm harness, Wally Diver
TROUT/SALMON: The salmon/trout fishing seems to
go from day to day. We have seen a huge increase in the
number of Lake Trout caught. Spoons with orange or red
on it have been key to putting fish in the boat. 80' to
110' have been the most productive depths.
