the Fish are and How to Catch 'Em! |
Pike:
The pike fishing has been great. Sturgeon Bay, Hoggs Bay, Sucker
Creek in 4' to 12' of water. Use Williams Spoon, Rapala Husky
Jerks and look for some weeds.
Top Lure: Rapala Husky Jerks, Spoons, 4" to 6"

Walleye: The fish are starting to move and the areas around
Canary Is., Methodist Is., & Green Is. have been very
productive. Minnow baits, jig & grub, tipped with a worm, fish
the drops into 23' of water.
Top Lure: Jig & Power Grub, Stike King Wild Shiner
Crappie: Try Black Lake, North Bay or Gloucester Pool. Smal
tube jigs are key. Locate the fish on your fishfinder then
vertical jig them.
Top Lure: Prowler 1 1/2" tubes
Trout/Salmon: The downriggers are out in full force! Lots
of lake trout being caught around Christian Is. and Hope Is. The
Rainbows have been very productive off D'oust Bay & Balm
Beach. If you are looking for Salmon, try off Mark's Pt. or
Methodist Pt.
