Where the Fish are and How to Catch 'Em!
Pike: Pike fishing has been fairly consistent this week. Penetang Bay, Hogs Bay
Top Lure: Blue/white original rapala, black/gold Husky Jerk (great on overcast or sunny days), minnows

Walleye: Walleye fishing has been really good this week! Fish are being taken at about 17'-18'. Midland Bay has been the hot spot. Snake Island, Tomahawk Island, Present and Methodist - in the channels especially around the buoys.
Top Lure: worm harnesses (chartreuse & glow@) with bottom bouncer or walking sinker, Husky Jerk (#8 or #10), chartreuse jighead and a worm (you gotta jig it!)

Salmon: Salmon are still relating to the bait fish. There aren't a lot of baitfish on the inside of Christian and Hope Islands. If you have a bigger boat, you'll do better on the west side. There are starting to be a few fish caught off Ginn Rocks in "the hole". There are also some fish in the rivers already, especially Wasaga way! The fish are undersized and underfed. Blue/silver seems to be a good combination (resembling herring which they aren't getting many of), Lyman's off "the hole" and outside. The ledge off Methodist Pt. produced a few fish this week - especially using Howie flies.
Top Lure: Lyman's - watermelon, polka dot, Big Erns - grey ghose, blue/silver, Howie flies

Trout: Lake trout this week were found at around 110' in 130' of water.
Top Lure: NK Flashers, Starfire Sundowner Spoons

Bass: The size of the bass went up sharply this week compared to past reports. Salt tubes were producing some great fish especially following a spinnerbait!
Top Lure: Slim Jims/Scuttle Worms have been good all season, salttubes: green pumpkin, watermelon composite colours are working best. Strike King Diamond Shad or Wild Thangs!

Musky: It just gets better from here! Justin's big fish came casting a jailbird Suick at Sucker Creek. More fish have been caught casting than trolling...so get that arm in shape!
Top Lure: Suick, Blackfly In-line spinners, Picasso 1oz Spinnerbaits
